{"id":3265,"date":"2022-03-22T09:05:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T07:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bcrm-bg.org\/?p=3265"},"modified":"2022-04-07T14:06:36","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T12:06:36","slug":"registration-for-temporary-protection-ukrainian-citizens-and-third-country-nationals-coming-from-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bcrm-bg.org\/en\/registration-for-temporary-protection-ukrainian-citizens-and-third-country-nationals-coming-from-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration for temporary protection \u2013 Ukrainian citizens and third country nationals coming from Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" data-tab=\"1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9971\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-selected=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/refugee-integration.bg\/ua-ukraine-information-temporary-protection\/\">\u0406\u043d\u0444\u043e\u0440\u043c\u0430\u0446\u0456\u044f \u0443\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0441\u044c\u043a\u043e\u044e \u043c\u043e\u0432\u043e\u044e \u0434\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0443\u043f\u043d\u0430 \u0442\u0443\u0442<\/a><\/h4>\n<h2 id=\"elementor-tab-title-9971\" class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-active\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" data-tab=\"1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9971\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-selected=\"true\">Who can apply for temporary protection?<\/h2>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9971\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"1\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9971\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ukrainian citizens<\/strong>\u00a0residing in Ukraine before February 24, 2022 and\u00a0<strong>members of their families<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nationals of other third countries (other than Ukraine) and stateless people<\/strong>\u00a0who have used their right to international protection or another equivalent type of national protection in Ukraine before 24 February 2022, and members of their families;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Persons with foreign citizenship or statelessness who left the territory of Ukraine as a result of hostilities<\/strong>\u00a0and entered and remained on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, if they explicitly state that they want to enjoy the status of temporary protection until March 31, 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"elementor-tab-title-9972\" class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-active\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" data-tab=\"2\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9972\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-selected=\"true\">How long does the process take?<\/h2>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9972\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"2\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9972\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The procedure takes 5 to 15 minutes<\/strong>\u00a0and temporary protection\u00a0<strong>is provided immediately<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Temporary protection is granted upon\u00a0<strong>oral request<\/strong>\u00a0to the Border Police, the State Agency for Refugees or other bodies of the Ministry of Interior (migration, police), to\u00a0<strong>people who meet the conditions above.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"elementor-tab-title-9973\" class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-active\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" data-tab=\"3\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9973\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-selected=\"true\">What rights does temporary protection give me?<\/h2>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9973\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"3\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9973\">\n<ul>\n<li>Right to stay on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria;<\/li>\n<li>Right to written information in plain language about the rules and conditions of temporary protection;<\/li>\n<li>If you are granted temporary protection, you receive:<br \/>\n\u2013 Right to registration card of a foreigner who has been granted temporary protection \u2013 for the term of protection;<br \/>\n\u2013 Right to reunite with one\u2019s family;<br \/>\n\u2013 Right to work and professional training;<br \/>\n\u2013 The right to education for students and the right to access kindergarten for children under 6 years of age;<br \/>\n\u2013 The right to appropriate accommodation or means of accommodation if necessary;<br \/>\n\u2013 Right to assistance for accommodation and meals in accommodation places registered in the National Tourist Register, in the total amount of BGN 40 without VAT per person per night and food \/ breakfast, lunch and dinner \/, incl. tourist tax, which is paid to the service provider. The aid will be provided for a period of up to 3 months. The same rights will have the persons who have expressed a desire to access the labor market in the country and this assistance will be provided for up to 1 month from the date of application. The period of validity of the program is expected to be\u00a0<strong>from 24.02.2022 to 31.05.2022<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Right to social assistance;<\/li>\n<li>Right to medical care in emergencies<br \/>\n\u2013 People from vulnerable groups \u2013 children under 18, unaccompanied children, pregnant women, single parents with minors, the elderly and people with disabilities, serious health problems, mental disorders victims of trafficking or suffering torture, rape or other severe forms of violence \u2013 have the right to full medical care as Bulgarian citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"elementor-tab-title-9974\" class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-active\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" data-tab=\"4\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-9974\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-selected=\"true\">Where can I issue a document for temporary protection?<\/h2>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-9974\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"4\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-9974\">\n<p>On the map below, you will be able to see all of the active places in Bulgaria where, you can apply and get a document for temporary protection, and find the closes one to you. New locations will be made available every day, along with the ongoing training of additional staff and deployment of new equipment.
