The aim is to provide an opportunity to discuss all aspects of the identification of vulnerable asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection – definition, identification, referral and monitoring. The intention is, following the Round Table, to prepare proposals for unifying the definition of “vulnerable asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection”, and to outline the capacity of each of the organizations to participate in the process and to bring out the problem areas and challenges in preparation of the National Mechanism for identification of the vulnerable asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection.

Invitations for participation are extended to representatives of the Ministry of Interior – the Migration Directorate and the Border Police General Directorate, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Health, the National Commission for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, the Agency for Social Assistance, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, the State Agency for Child Protection, the Bulgarian Red Cross, the Assistance Center for Torture Survivors – ACET, the Nadja Center Foundation and the Council of Refugee Women.
