The aim of the conference is to discuss the achievements and the challenges of the policy and practice for the protection of refugee children in accordance with international commitments and responsibilities of the country as a member of the European Union. Among the most important issues is the partnership between government institutions, local authorities and civil society to strengthen the protection of refugee children.
Invitations will be extended to representatives of relevant government institutions, international organizations, local authorities, NGOs and refugee organizations working with refugee children in Bulgaria.
The conference will be held on 20 June 2014 (Friday) from 9.15 h at the premises of the Presidency, 2, Dondoukov Blvd.
