The UNHCR Representative Mathijs le Rutte and the Chairperson of the Bulgarian Council for Refugees and Migrants Kina Sabeva participated in the annual meeting of the Association of Communications Specialists in the Municipalities on 26 and 27 April 2018.
Mathijs le Rutte presented important issues concerning the integration of persons granted international protection in Bulgaria and the role of municipalities in this process.
The need to create a supportive environment as an important precondition for local integration was discussed.
